Are you ready to discover the history of the old Castle of Belfort ? 800 years ago, an old Castle stood at the heart of the city before the Citadel and was mentioned in writtings.

This was the theme of “Un été sous les murailles” (translated by A summer beneath the walls), an summer event at Belfort Citadel with creativity, history and activities for visitors of all ages.

To prepare the communication of this major event aimed to locals and tourists, I collaborated with the museum’s history team and attended a press conference to gather necessary informations.

The communication strategy included a post card, a roll-up banner, street-level display (MUPI type), and posters as well as the publication of the program in “Belfort Mag”, a magazine for local residents.

I oversaw the creation of these materials in collaboration with graphic designers, the museum team and photographers to manage content throughout the summer.

The weather helped during this summer to maintain activities such as open-air film screenings, the medieval weekend and visits around the Citadel. Illustrations by ©Valérie Szewczyk
